Ms Terrill has held a long term interest in wound management. She has expertise in debridement (cleaning up) of wounds and then can advise on the most appropriate dressings to be applied to the wound. If appropriate, this may lead onto closure of the wound by skin grafting or flap procedure. She has carried out research into the management of different wound types and the most appropriate use of dressings for these wounds and published these studies in the medical literature.

She has a keen  interst in Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) and attended the International Consensus Meeting in Hamburg on NPWT in 2012. She has also been invited to lecture on NPWT at both medical meetings and to nursing groups.

She is a member of Wounds Australia.
